DSMB & Reel Specialty

When diving in the UK and around the world you want to be visible to you dive boat when ascending from each dive. To achieve this we use a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy ( DSMB ).

To learn how to use a DSMB and Reel correctly and safely join the DSMB & Reel diver program.

You need to be at least PADI Open Water Diver Certification ( Junior or equivalent )

	One confined water dive
	Two open water dives
	Develop the practical knowledge on how to deploy safely
	Planning, organising and safely conducting no decompression dives inc. safety stops whilst using a DSMB
	Awareness
	Knowledge of current guidelines and local practices
	Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
